Weekend Announcements July 2+3

Fireworks! Five Oaks! Fourth of July! Fun!

Yes, it’s true: the Five Oaks FUN Team is once again brewing up some fun paired with great views of the Bielenberg Fourth of July fireworks. Show up Monday eve at 9 pm with your lawn chair, your bug spray, and some friends. We’ve got the rest covered! Note: at 9:30 pm, access to the Five Oaks parking lot will be blocked from the north. (Traffic circle at Bailey and Radio will be closed.) You’ll need to enterour parking lot from the south. Traffic will also be routed to the south after the fireworks.

Tree House STILL needs you this summer!
We still need your help -- whatever you can spare. It takes many hands and hearts to make a nurturing and fun learning environment for our kids in the Tree House each weekend. Please sign up to help out this summer while our regular teachers take a well-deserved break. Please email Rhiannon at rrutledge@fiveoakschurch.org with your availability. Thank you!

July Book Club
Do you enjoy the story of Ruth, Naomi and Boaz? How about if it were set in Scotland in 1745 during the Jacobite uprising led by Bonnie Prince Charlie? If you can appreciate a unique combo of the book of Ruth, entwined with historical fiction, then you will enjoy our July book, Here Burns my Candle, by Liz Curtis Higgs. We’ll meet July 12, 6:45 pm, in the Fireside Commons. Please join us!
