KIDS MINISTRY DIRECTOR

Kelly leads the kids’ ministry of the church, equips the congregation and those serving in kids’ ministry to bring the story of God to life. She recruits, develops, and inspires others to serve and lead in kids’ ministry (birth through fifth grade). Kelly loves to partner with parents and inspire them to be invested in every phase of their child’s life.

CHIEF OF STAFF

Brian is responsible for supporting the Lead Pastor and guiding the work of the pastoral (and other) staff leaders. As Chief of Staff, Brian plays a critical role in coordinating and driving the strategic initiatives, managing key operations, and serves as a trusted advisor and confidante to the Lead Pastor.

MIDDLE SCHOOL ASSOCIATE / KIDS MINISTRY ASSOCIATE

Dan works closely with our middle school students and our incredible team of adult volunteers as part of our student ministry program. Whether he's planning camps or equipping leaders to serve, Dan is enthusiastic about being part of what God is doing in the lives of our middle schoolers.

In addition to his work with our middle school students, Dan also serves in our Five Oaks Kids elementary ministry on the weekends. He values the opportunity to be a consistent and familiar face for our younger students as they prepare to transition into middle school.

CAMPUS PASTOR

Jonathan is passionate about getting people connected and helping them follow Jesus in those friendships. He wants to see others excitedly engage their gifts to serve the church and work for the common good in their everyday work. Jonathan has been on staff for over 18 years. He's married to Stephanie and has 3 kids, Jeremiah, Joshua, and Sara. He can talk endlessly about Jesus, board games, and music! (well, and Star Wars...)

BUSINESS ADMINISTRATOR

Liza oversees all aspects of Five Oaks' business operations, including finance, insurance, service contracts, payroll, and employee benefits.

As Communications Director, Stephanie leads the team responsible for making communication happen at Five Oaks. She also creates all the major design pieces for Five Oaks and its ministries.

Paget assists in all areas of Five Oaks Kids. She is devoted to helping children grow and develop their relationship with Christ.

FACILITIES MANAGER

Jakki coordinates supplies and the work done by contractors and volunteers to keep the building and grounds clean and ready for use. She also serves as host for many groups that use our space.

CONNECTIONS MINISTRY ASSISTANT

As the Connections Ministry Assistant, Kelsey wants to make it as easy as possible for people to connect, engage, and find a place at Five Oaks. She is pretty nerdy about systems, so it's a joy for her to help at all points of connection: from following up after someone's first visit, to coordinating membership classes, and the many places in between. Kelsey also leads the Prayer Card Team, which is a ministry that sends prayer-filled cards to those in our church body who are in need of prayer.

WORSHIP PASTOR

Tom leads the worship ministries at Five Oaks and equips, coaches and trains congregation members to use their musical and technical skills to bring glory to God with the gathered church. Whether it is for our weekend services, Student Ministries, or for Five Oaks Kids, Tom has a passion to draw out the untapped gifts of people and empower them to use them to lead the congregation in worship.

OAKS CHURCH KIDS MINISTRY DIRECTOR

Kayleigh’s family has been attending Five Oaks since 2021. Before moving to Minnesota in 2020, Kayleigh was a Kids Pastor at a multisite church in her home state of Indiana for over four years. She has a heart for bringing people of all ages closer to Jesus and a passion for helping parents be intentional about being the primary spiritual influence in their child’s life. Kayleigh is married to her 8th-grade sweetheart, Taylor, and is mom to two young boys - Miles and Oliver. When she can sneak in time, Kayleigh enjoys reading a good book, crafting, visiting the MN Arboretum, and spending quality time with friends and family.

OAKS CHURCH LEAD/CAMPUS PASTOR

Henry Michael grew up in the area and is excited about the growth of both Five Oaks and Cottage Grove. With a passion for making disciples and fostering meaningful relationships, Henry is excited to lead this unique “slow plant” journey, transitioning from a multisite campus into an autonomous church in the coming years. He is joined by his wife, Holly, and their four children—Navy, Hank, Mack, and Bonnie—who are equally eager to embrace this new season of ministry. Outside of church-related activities, you’ll likely find Henry spending time with his family, reading a good book, fly fishing, cheering on the Vikings, or playing pickleball. The Williams family looks forward to building connections and growing together with the people of Cottage Grove.
