Weekend of March 11+12

Easter serve: be blessed by your blessing

We know that taking that first step to find a serving niche can feel like a big step. To that end, we have several simple, ONE-TIME serve opportunities this Easter.  This is a great chance to “test drive” a serving role to find a solid match.  We have opportunities in many areas around our church — both visible and behind-the-scenes roles over the Easter weekend. Look for the Easter Serve brochure with the Worship Guide this weekend, or find one at the Ministry Cart in the Commons.  You can fill that out and drop it in an offering box. We’ll then contact you. Questions? Contact our Connections Director, Jennifer Clemens, at jclemens@fiveoakschurch.org.

Arrive Ministries refugee info meeting this weekend
Representatives from Arrive Ministries will provide information on opportunities to minister to refugees and answer questions. March 12 after the 11 AM service in Room 101. Lunch will be provided. Hope to see you there. Questions? Email impact@fiveoakschurch.org.

New to Five Oaks? Join our Discovery Seminar March 12
We’re all pretty good at self-sabotage. It’s no different when it comes to our own spiritual growth. That’s why we have the Discovery Seminar. We look at three dumb things smart people do to sabotage their own spiritual growth, and what you can do instead. We offer it every month because it’s part of offering a clear pathway to connecting, growing, and making a difference with us—10-Minute Connect, Discovery, and Story of God. The second half of the Discovery Seminar is an opportunity for you to ask questions about Five Oaks. This is for new folks like you. Our next class is March 12, 11 am - 12:15 pm, room 101.
