Moms, thank you.
This weekend we honor mothers, mother figures, and motherhood. In the US, Mother’s Day was founded by Anna Jarvis in 1908, when she campaigned to honor her own mother and the work her mother did on behalf of all mothers. At the Mother’s Day Ministry Cart this weekend, please take some candy to share with your own mom or mother figure. You also will see some cards available for writing a note of appreciation to a special mom figure in your life. Happy Mother’s Day!

Tree House summer serve opportunities
Did you know it takes 50 hearts and hands to make our Tree House hum each weekend? Each summer we give our regular volunteers a well-deserved break. This is an opportunity for you to step in an serve for a weekend or three this summer — and try out a new serving area. A great chance to build relationships and engage with kids! Lessons and activities are provided — and you can serve with your family or small group if you choose! If interested, please email Cindy Yarrington, firstname.lastname@example.org.
