Ever wish you could stop time ?

For kids and families, summer is a change of pace between the phase you’re in and the one that’s coming next. We want to help you make the most of the time you have this summer to connect as a family and move forward together. Join us for our Parenting Journey Classes in May. We’ll explore the social, emotional, physical, and developmental needs of your kids so you can have more meaningful connection as a family. These classes are all free.

Good Friday and Easter services

Join us for our Good Friday services on Friday, April 19, at 5:30 and 7:00 pm. Our Easter services will be on Saturday, April 20 at 4:30 pm, and Sunday, April 21 at 8:00, 9:30, and 11 am. Good Friday and Easter are both great opportunities to reach out to new neighbors or others you know who are either not connected or who are unreached. Help others in your life discover or rediscover the life-changing story of the cross and resurrection. Many people report they are willing to come to church when invited by others to join them, so this is your opportunity to help plant a seed for a friend.

Does your family life feel frantic?
We are a church of families and know what that feels like. We have found having focus, clarity, and priorities toward the right things is helpful to reducing that frantic feeling. For a helpful tool (PDF) on how to find more clarity or calm, please email office@fiveoakschurch.org, and we will send you a link to this tool. Our church is here to help you in any way we can.

Loving your city:  Secret Church
Ever feel intimidated?  What if following Jesus was illegal, and you had to walk miles to find other believers? You would spend hours together praying, worshiping, and studying.  Secret Church simulates that. Join the national simulcast April 26, 6 pm – 12 am at New Life Church as we worship, study, and pray for the persecuted Church. Click here to register in Realm.

Calling all graduating seniors!
Senior night is rapidly approaching, and we want to celebrate you! Join us on April 27 at 6 pm, after the Saturday evening service, for food and a celebration. And yes, please bring your entire family! Click here to register on Realm.  Contact Henry Michael at henrymw@fiveoakschurch.org if you have any questions.

Join our mission (membership)

Membership is important at Five Oaks. It’s a way of saying, “I want to be part of the mission of this local church.”  If you have a personal relationship with Christ and have completed Story of God (the class or in your small group), make plans to come to the next membership class on April 28, 9 am, in room 102. Please RSVP by emailing Pam Hawley at phawley@fiveoakschurch.org

Loving your world: Team World Vision (impact Passport “ready” opportunity)
How would your life be different if you had to do a 6K (6 kilometers = 3.72 miles) every day just to get water? You can help eliminate that problem for many in Africa by running for Team World Vision in the TC Marathon, or by supporting a TWV runner. For more info on running the marathon or sponsoring a runner, please email impact@fiveoakschurch.org.
